A wood cut that is made up of several plates, and printed on one single paper. The figure is holding something in her hand that she is looking intensely at. I call the object for the monolith, and it is a recurring theme - the thing we are drawn towards, that which we cannot make tangible, the unknown. The woman is at the same time a mystery in herself, her eyes are in shadow and her whole appearance is a bit of an abstraction.
