Do Not Eat Our Bread, Let Our Tears Be

Lino cut mounted on plastic and wood, wood construction with hooks, ca 30x150 cm, 2018

A hanging art work, like a piece of jewellery or clothing. Words repeat themselves on long strips, above them is a crying or grimacing young woman. At a closer inspection it becomes clear that there is a total of three small texts that go on and on. They describe an event and an afterwards. Together they form a messy but still appealing cluster of frustrated words, under the emotional yet also convoluted faces.
